Relationship Officer - ADIB@Work (Outsource) Job Description

Role : Relationship Officer

Role Purpose :

Develop strong relationships with key contacts in targeted sectors/segments to source payroll salaried accounts and cross-sell asset products (Covered Cards and Personal Finances) in line with ADIB policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities of the role :

  1. Source payroll accounts from targeted sectors/segments and achieve or exceed the assigned monthly targets.
  2. Cross-sell and source Covered Cards products from targeted sectors/segments and meet targets.
  3. Cross-sell and source Personal Finance products from targeted sectors/segments and meet targets.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers' HR, Finance, and Admin departments within targeted government entities, multinationals, large and medium corporates, including new establishments and Free Zones.
  5. Conduct marketing, kiosk, and onboarding sessions within targeted employers to promote ADIB products and services.
  6. Participate in and complete activities assigned by management.
  7. Maintain full awareness of product policies and procedures and ensure swift implementation.
  8. Visit potential employers/clients to finalize business deals within the targeted turnaround time, following ADIB policies and procedures.
  9. Ensure comprehensive knowledge of assigned products and full adherence to processes.
  10. Provide prompt and timely service to customers.
  11. Adhere to office timings, maintain confidentiality, and follow secrecy norms.
  12. Prepare and review Standard Credit Applications, ensuring all information is accurate and authentic, including critical documents like bank statements, passports, EID, salary certificates, or salary transfer letters.
  13. Follow the approval process and escalate delays to supervisors if necessary.
  14. Execute and process product lines, prepare files as per checklists, and share physical files with coordinators within 24 hours after signing formalities.
  15. Ensure the quality of applications submitted and rectify errors or omissions.
  16. Check file activation and notify management of delays at the Card Centre.
  17. Maintain good rapport within ADIB departments to ensure smooth business flow.
  18. Initiate cross-selling of other banking products on a best-efforts basis.
  19. Escalate customer complaints to management when necessary.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required :

  • Experience in multi-products sales, payroll, or employee banking.
  • Good knowledge of retail banking service standards, sales skills, and computer skills.
  • Awareness of competitors in the local/regional market.
  • Driving License.
