Job description

The job purpose is to generate leads and onboard quality clients for the Emirati & Islamic segment in the assigned region. The candidate will handle complex product offerings such as Mortgage, Investment, and FX, which require client profiling. The job holder will also manage client relationships, support clients in service-related matters, and onboard Mashreq Gold profile clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Proactively drive new-to-bank business to grow Emirati and Islamic business presence.
  2. Maintain close contact and relationships with clients to ensure the bank remains one of their main banking partners and captures a major share of their wallet.
  3. Proactively solicit and manage businesses that meet the bank's risk-reward parameters.
  4. Deliver agreed assets, liabilities, FX revenue targets, and promote cross-selling of other bank products.
  5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure quality service delivery to clients.
  6. Work closely with product and channel partners across RBG, CIBG, and SME FX teams to maximize opportunities through regular contact, feedback, coordination, and cross-referrals.
  7. Ensure credit risk management during facility execution.
  8. Adhere to compliance requirements, including KYC, AML, account reviews based on risk levels, and monitoring high-value transactions.
  9. Maintain productivity and performance as a self-starter.
  10. Possess confidence, persistence, strong personality, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Have strong knowledge of retail banking products, policies, and processes.
  12. Hold a graduate degree and have 7-10+ years of banking sales experience in sales & marketing.
