- Adhere to all policies related to KYC and AML as set out by the bank.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the business banking portfolio and other businesses.
- Be accountable for meeting and exceeding agreed annual plans and goals.
- Manage account relationships effectively.
- Check timely reports and documents.
- Ensure credit reviews are completed on time.
Generic Accountability
- Manage account relationships.
- Ensure all related work is completed on time and meets the TAT.
- Check timely reports and documents.
- Update the Head of Department on the status of relationships periodically.
- Provide customers with the best possible service at all times.
- Closely monitor the relationships handled and stay updated on each case.
- Coordinate with other departments for transaction completion.
- Monitor the timely completion and signing of credit proposals/applications.
- Review existing portfolios timely and keep track of market intelligence, updating the Head of Department as required.
- Drive the sales activities of the team, providing regular guidance, coaching, and monitoring progress.
- Act as a role model, recognize good performers, and use coaching to identify training needs, career progression, and succession planning. Reinforce sales and service culture and share best practices.
- Set up meetings with new clients.
- Ensure team targets are achieved for both funded and non-funded activities.
- Ensure credit reviews are completed on time, with quality assessments, operational controls, and timely identification of problem accounts. Use lending limits prudently, maintain regular communication with CRM, and provide clear guidelines to team members.
