Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and managing relationships for business loans, mortgages, trade finance, corporate finance, asset finance, construction finance, and project finance. This role demands a proactive approach to business development, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to ethical sales practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development:
Promote and sell a range of financial products including business loans, mortgages, trade finance, corporate finance, asset finance, construction finance, and project finance.
Achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective sales strategies.
Acquire business volumes from the existing portfolio (cross-sell) and through new client acquisition.
Develop a robust database of qualified leads via referrals, cold calling, telecalling, direct mail, email, and networking.
Manage B2B corporate relationships and represent the bank at client meetings. - Client & Portfolio Management:
Understand and analyze client needs, facility requirements, and financial health.
Prepare and present credit applications, including financial statement analysis, bank statement review, VAT reports, and cash flow projections.
Ensure all documentation for credit proposals is complete and collateral is sufficient.
Initiate and oversee facility disbursements and adjustments. - Compliance & Ethics:
Ensure all sales activities comply with bank policies and regulatory frameworks.
Maintain high standards of ethical sales practices, acting with integrity, fairness, and professionalism.
Educate clients on product terms and conditions prior to finalization or signing of facility offer letters. - Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare high-quality, informative, and professional call reports.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all client documentation and internal reporting. - Teamwork & Internal Cooperation:
Collaborate effectively with all bank employees and support departments.
Foster innovation, customer focus, and creative problem-solving within the team.
Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Complete mandatory training and actively pursue skill development as identified with line managers.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
At least 3 years of relationship management experience in a banking environment. - Skills:
Excellent sales, negotiation, and client management skills.
Strong analytical and financial assessment abilities.
Proficient in preparing credit applications and financial analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer proficiency.
Knowledge of cross-selling financial products.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development.
