Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare reinforcement shop drawings, details, and bar bending schedules (BBS) for structural elements such as slabs, beams, columns, cores, and foundations.
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings to generate accurate rebar detailing.
• Ensure drawings are compliant with local codes, project specifications, and structural design intent.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Revise and update drawings as per site conditions and consultant/client comments.
• Maintain organized documentation and filing of all reinforcement drawings and revisions.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation related to reinforcement.
• Work closely with the construction team to provide technical support during execution.
• Participate in internal and external meetings to discuss technical drawing aspects.

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting Technology.

Minimum 8 years of relevant drafting experience in the GCC, specifically in high-rise buildings.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADS RC, or similar reinforcement detailing software.

Strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing practices, standards, and codes (BS, ACI, etc.).

Familiar with structural systems and construction methodologies for high-rise structures.

Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Good communication and coordination skills.
