Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical history, physical impairments, and functional limitations
  • Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests and imaging studies
  • Diagnose and treat physical impairments, disabilities, and conditions that require rehabilitation
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals
  • Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and interventions to support patients' recovery and rehabilitation
  • Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and coordinated care
  • Provide consultations and second opinions to other healthcare professionals
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of physical and rehabilitation medicine

Requirements
Consultant or Specialist Physical and Rehabilitation Requirements:

  • Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant or Specialist in Physical and Rehabilitation
  • Residency training and board certification or eligibility in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating physical impairments, disabilities, and conditions requiring rehabilitation
  • Expertise in physical and rehabilitation medicine principles, practices, and treatment modalities
  • Strong knowledge of relevant diagnostic tests and imaging studies
  • Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks
