Job summary

Mashreq in UAE is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to ensure accurate submission of central bank and authority returns for Mashreq UAE and subsidiaries. You will coordinate data collection, validation, and posting of GDL and cash reserve entries, and support audits.

The role requires 3–5 years in accounting/finance within banking or financial services, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented mindset to drive reporting accuracy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Accounting or finance degree with 3–5 years of banking/finance experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory reports for Mashreq UAE and subsidiaries per Central Bank guidelines.
• Prepare GDL and Cash Reserve returns for MB UAE and post transactions in Flexcube.
• Collect, validate, and reconcile data from cross-functional teams for reporting.
• Address data issues to ensure accuracy of reports.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update reporting processes accordingly.
• Drive automation and process improvements in regulatory reporting with Technology.
• Support audits with proper documentation.
