Job description

The Financial Reporting Analyst works under the direction of the Controller on Financial Reporting for the bank, including financial report preparation, data generation, and financial performance analysis.

Responsibilities include:

1. Producing and delivering regulatory reports accurately and timely for the entities under remit. Implement controls and reviews to ensure compliance with local regulatory reporting rules.
2. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting all monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly Banking Return Forms (BRFs) and Islamic Banking Return Forms (IRFs) to the UAE Central Bank.
3. Providing expertise on Pillar 1 and Pillar 3 Disclosures in accordance with the latest regulations prescribed by CBUAE.
4. Reviewing Central Bank reports prepared by team members and authorizing/submitting reports on the CB portal.
5. Performing Quality Assurance, investigating, and remediating data validation errors and rejection reports.
6. Performing General Ledger reconciliation to generate accurate reporting.
7. Performing control and cross-checks for the returns/filings before uploading on the CB portal.
8. Interpreting and analyzing the impact of new circulars/notices issued by the Regulator and implementing necessary actions.
9. Performing financial analysis on regulatory reporting trends.
