Qualifications

Description

Role: Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Location: Dubai

Role purpose:

  • The position is responsible for providing value added services accurately efficiently and within established turnaround time policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that necessary information through MIS is provided to Central Bank internal/external auditors & other internal stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

  • Accurate monthly submission of CBRB data to the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) in compliance with regulatory guidelines approved SOPs and defines SLAs.
  • Handle queries from within the bank and/ or CBUAE with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and the IT Department to automate the CBRB data gathering process.
  • Ensure that all required amendments to CBRB data extracts are carried out in accordance with requirements defined by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
  • Compile and present a monthly MIS report outlining areas for improvement.
  • To conduct UAT on the data refinement requests made through the ITD department.
  • Perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Submission of CBRB data while ensuring accuracy in strict adherence to policies and procedures and SLA.
  • No major audit findings from Internal or CBUAE auditors.

Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role:

  • Thorough knowledge of ADIBs retail and corporate products.
  • A thorough understanding of Banks Policies and product knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
  • Effective communication skills in English and preferably knowledge in Arabic.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Previous experience required:

  • A minimum of 5 to7 years of banking experience in the preparation and submission of CBRB reports.
