Job summary

Curtin University Dubai is seeking an Institutional Data Officer to support the Quality Assurance Department with data collection, validation, and regulatory reporting. You will coordinate data from across the university, ensure accuracy, and assist in MOHESR, KHDA, and CAA submissions.

The role requires strong data-analysis skills, advanced Excel, and experience with UAE higher education quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field as stated in the job posting.
• Strong data analysis, BI and reporting skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Strong cross functional collaboration and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience in UAE higher education quality, compliance and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager in ensuring compliance with institutional policies and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate collection, consolidation and validation of institutional and program data for MOHESR, CAA and KHDA reporting.
• Liaise with data owners to verify data across departments and systems.
• Support regulatory data submissions via MOHESR/KHDA platforms.
• Monitor data quality and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain institutional databases and regulatory data records.
• Coordinate OBEF KPI data collection and evidence.
• Maintain standardised data collection templates and reporting procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve data collection and reporting processes.
• Assist in regulatory submissions and audits with prepared data and evidence packs.
• Liaise with MOHESR, CAA and KHDA as directed.
