Job description

Join us as our Regulatory Affairs Manager

Novonesis has recently acquired DSM Firmenich of the feed enzyme alliance and will become a leading biosolutions provider in animal health and nutrition (contingent on transaction completion). In this role, you will serve as the regional regulatory lead for our feed enzymes business across the territory, responsible for all regulatory activities including new product submissions, renewal of existing registrations, and developing a regional regulatory strategy aligned with business growth. You will collaborate with global Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety teams, as well as cross-functional teams, to support business expansion in the Middle East, India, and Africa.

About the Animal & Plant Biosolutions - MEA Team

The team combines commercial, technical, and marketing professionals from the MEA region, committed to delivering impactful solutions in feed enzymes, probiotics, and silage inoculants, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. Our core values are care, exploration, impact, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead regional regulatory activities supporting projects.
  2. Ensure regulatory and safety compliance for products in the region.
  3. Represent the company in regional trade organizations and promote Novonesis positions.
  4. Provide regulatory input for projects and ensure Product Safety involvement.
  5. Advise on regulatory strategies for market access and compliance.
  6. Define regulatory frameworks for product launches.
  7. Coordinate with Portfolio Management on regulatory matters.
  8. Develop submission and renewal strategies for market access.
  9. Support data mapping and preparation for submissions.
  10. Review marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
  11. Manage registration renewals to maintain business continuity.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Over 10 years of experience in feed additive approvals in MEA, focusing on countries like Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, etc.
  • BSc degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related fields.
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
