Job description

Regular or Visiting Faculty 2026 - Chemical Engineering

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CHBE) at the College of Engineering, American University of Sharjah (AUS), invites applications for a faculty position starting Fall 2026. Positions are available at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, as either regular or visiting faculty.

Candidates must hold a PhD in Chemical or Biological Engineering or a closely related field, with a strong teaching portfolio. Preference is given to applicants with backgrounds in Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or Biotechnology. Excellence in teaching, research, and familiarity with the American higher education model are highly desirable.
