Job summary

Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced OPD nurse leader to provide and coordinate patient-centered care, ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards. You will supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing staff, promoting a learning environment and high-quality patient experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, a valid BLS certificate, and at least two years of OPD experience, with preference for prior team-lead activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and valid BLS certificate.
• Minimum 2 years OPD experience; team lead in OPD preferred.
• Fluent in English; basic Arabic language skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and EMR systems.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based nursing care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Take active responsibility for positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

valid BLS certificate

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least two years OPD experience

Experience as Team Lead in OPD as well as with procedures and treatment room

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic Arabic language skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
