Position: Homecare Nurse
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Processes & Standards: Ensure all clinical processes, policies, and standards of care are followed, working collaboratively with nursing, rehabilitation, and other disciplines to ensure patient safety as prescribed by JCIA.
Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, following hospital and unit-specific policies, procedures, and standards.
Prioritize Care: Establish priorities for care, nursing actions, and desired outcomes in clinical care for all patients.
Adhere to Homecare Policies: Work within the policy framework of homecare to deliver the mission, vision, and core values of the organization.
Advocacy & Quality Care: Deliver quality nursing care and advocate for patients' welfare, demonstrating evidence-based practice.
Scope of Practice: Perform nursing duties within the clinical scope of practice and professional code of conduct as directed by Nursing Administration, DOH, PQR, and UAE Nursing Norms.
Clinical Assessment: Provide care based on professional knowledge and clinical assessment skills relevant to homecare and adhere to best practice competency frameworks.
Infection Prevention: Demonstrate high-level knowledge of infection prevention in the homecare setting and report any issues according to PHS policy and infection control frameworks.
Documentation: Document all assessments, interventions, and other information in the patient’s medical records in accordance with Pyramids Health Services policy and international documentation standards.
Multidisciplinary Communication: Ensure continuity of patient care through communication with the multidisciplinary team, and collaborate with parents and families.
Competency & Licensing: Take responsibility for the completion of clinical competencies and license registration.
Emergency Response: Take direct action in urgent and emergency situations, demonstrating decision-making and leadership abilities.
Task Completion: Complete tasks assigned by the line manager as required.
