Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Regional Accounting & Tax Manager in Dubai to oversee regional tax and accounting activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and governance. You will lead tax reporting, liaise with authorities, and drive process improvements across multiple jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in accounting/tax, strong IFRS knowledge, and experience in multinational or Big Four environments. The role requires cross-country collaboration and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of working experience in accounting/tax.
• University degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Experience in accounting and/or tax in a multinational or Big Four environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of corporate taxation, indirect taxes and transfer pricing.
• Tax accounting and IAS 12 knowledge, including current and deferred taxes.
• Experience with statutory reporting, external audits and internal controls is an advantage.
• Experience across multiple countries and jurisdictions desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a pragmatic approach.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across countries and functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive tax optimization initiatives and leverage incentives across the region.
• Ensure compliance with direct/indirect tax regulations (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax).
• Serve as main contact for tax authorities, advisors, audits, disputes.
• Lead accurate tax reporting, filings, and disclosures for internal/external stakeholders.
• Provide expert tax guidance and support tax policy implementation.
• Partner on strategic projects including investments, restructurings, and system implementations.
• Strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Stay ahead of regulatory developments and implement new tax requirements regionally.
• Collaborate with Finance and business teams to align accounting, tax, and operations.
• Support regional accounting activities and financial reporting, with process improvements.
