Job description

The Company is one of the largest, most technologically advanced and efficient makers of pulp and paper products in the world. We make products that are used by millions of people every day in liquid packaging, printing and writing paper, tissues, shopping bags, food packaging, magazines and books.

Our business is built on a fully integrated, sustainable Forest Management Policy. Our operations include a state-of-the-art pulp and paper mill and plantation forests. We employs around 14,000 people directly and provides indirect employment to 90,000.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To manage overall sales activity for the Pulp business to meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives.
  • Must have B2B sales experience.
  • Responsible for P&L accountabilities
  • Responsible for the overall sales activity for the Pulp business, including budget setting, sales allocation, sales operation & planning coordination, key customer relationship management, and customer services.
  • Establish the sales policies, standards & procedures to ensure quantity, quality & cost effectiveness of the Pulp business.
  • Develop good customer base to grow the Pulp business; manage the relationship with key customers.
  • Establish the sales forces based in key international markets; manage, motivate and develop the sales forces.
  • Drive the transformation from product sales to solution sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline. MBA preferred.
  • At least 10-15 years of successful commercial management experience in Pulp products or adjacent sectors along the packaging value chain proven record of accomplishment in the management of sizable commercial activities at the regional level. Strong understanding of packaging market dynamics, relevant product knowledge and customer needs.
  • Commercially savvy with high business acumen.
  • Familiar with international trading terms and best practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing and presentation skills. Good leadership and people management skills. Resilient; willing and able to be hands-on; good at numbers.
  • Proficient in English.
