A leading company in the renewable energy sector seeks a Regional Sales Manager to drive market development and enhance client relationships. The ideal candidate will lead a sales team, develop strategic initiatives, and ensure financial targets are met while promoting company solutions at industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Regional Market Development:
Develop and execute sales strategies specific to the region to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the renewable energy sector.
Identify new business opportunities, expand market share, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers within the region.
Monitor regional market trends, competitors, and customer needs to adjust strategies and ensure a competitive edge.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a regional sales team to meet or exceed sales goals.
Set clear sales targets, performance metrics, and expectations for the team.
Provide ongoing coaching and development to sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
Client Management & Business Development:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including utility companies, project developers, contractors, and government entities.
Lead high-value negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
Represent the company at industry events, regional conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and promote solutions.
Financial & Sales Performance Tracking:
Develop and manage the regional sales budget, tracking and optimizing performance to meet financial targets.
Regularly report on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to senior management.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure profitability and manage pricing models for products and services.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement regional campaigns and promotional activities tailored to local market needs.
Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure customer projects are delivered on time and exceed expectations.
Act as the primary point of contact between regional clients and the company’s internal departments.
