Job Title: Sales Director - New Business (BFSI- Abu Dhabi)

PS: You must have experience in acquiring new customers in Abu Dhabi (sold IT Services, candidate experience in selling licenses will not be relevant for this requirement)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This role will be primarily be responsible for Business Development & GTM for Abu Dhabi for the Banking & Financial Services business
- Identify, develop and close new business in the BFS sector across banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies in Abu Dhabi
- Prospect, pitch, and close deals with C-level executives, IT heads, and decision-makers at banks and financial institutions
- Position Coforge Digital, Cloud, AI, and core banking services to solve customer pain points
- Build and execute account penetration strategies to secure long-term contracts and multi-year deals
- Should be able to large deals >$10M TCV, 5 years duration
- Leverage existing relationships with banks in Abu Dhabi to open doors for new opportunities
- Stay updated on banking regulations, trends, and competitive landscape to tailor sales pitches effectively
- Work closely with presales, delivery, and leadership teams to craft compelling proposals and solutions
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure
- Ensure consistent pipeline growth and revenue contribution to meet quarterly and annual targets
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets, ensuring a strong pipeline and forecast accuracy
ROLE COMPETENCY:
- 10+ years of IT sales experience, mostly in the UAE BFS market
- Strong experience in selling IT services, digital transformation, core banking, cloud, AI, and analytics solutions to banks
- Proven track record in hunting, closing deals, and exceeding sales quotas
- Degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus
- Excellent network within Abu Dhabi banks (e.g., FAB, ADCB, ADIB, Al Hilal, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of UAE banking regulations, fintech ecosystem, and competitive landscape
- Ability to engage and influence C-level executives
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a target-driven environment
- Should have worked for Indian IT companies
- Must be based in Abu Dhabi
