Job summary

Parfums de Marly in Dubai seeks a Regional Retail Design Project Manager to lead design projects from concept to execution across MEA markets. You will coordinate with design teams, commercial, marketing, and retailers to ensure brand guidelines and business goals are met.

Ideal candidates have a designer/architect background and strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, with fluency in English and at least 5 years in luxury retail design.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail within Parfums & Cosmetics or luxury retail.
• Fluency in English; French and/or Arabic are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead retail design projects from concept through execution across MEA markets.
• Review 3D/technical drawings to ensure brand guidelines and retailer requirements.
• Debrief global projects team for new or adapted spaces for global validation.
• Coordinate with retailers for vendor packs and approvals.
• Oversee local agencies and suppliers, ensuring quality production and timely installation.
• Collect all store opening documents, permits, and related materials within deadlines.
• Track budgets and negotiate costs with partners to keep projects within budget.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, identify risks, and propose solutions.
• Provide regular status reports on budgets and timelines to Global Retail teams.
• Collaborate with VM, Marketing, Commercial and Global Retail teams to ensure alignment.

JOB TITLE: Regional Retail Design Project Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Regional Retail Design Project Manager is responsible for leading retail design projects from concept through execution. This role acts as the key liaison between design teams, commercial, marketing, vendors, construction partners to ensure that all retail environments reflect Brands guidelines and business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage retail design projects across MEA markets, reporting to HQ (shop in shops, wall units, gondolas).
• Revision of 3D and technical drawings ensuring Brands guidelines, perfect execution, while respecting retailer guidelines.
• Debrief the global projects team for new permanent spaces or adapting them for global validation
• Liaise with our retailers for vendor packs
• Manage Local agencies and suppliers, ensures quality production and installation work is done on time while building a strong relationship with retailers and suppliers
• Obtain all documentation related to the store opening, installation permits etc. within deadlines
• Track Budgets and cost negotiation with partners, ensures project execution is within assigned budgets.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, proactively identifying risks and proposing solutions to ensure successful project delivery
• Maintain accurate project trackers and provide regular reporting on project status, budgets and timelines to the Global Retail team
• Collaborate closely with VM, Marketing, Commercial and Global Retail teams to ensure alignment throughout project development and execution

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• The suitable candidate must have a designer or architect background (degree or equivalent)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other CAD software
• Understanding material properties, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail within Parfums & Cosmetics or luxury retail
• Experience working across multiple countries and managing external suppliers and retailers
• Language: English mandatory (French and/or Arabic is a plus)
