An established industry player is seeking a Regional Programme Officer to enhance energy transition efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves engaging with governments and stakeholders, coordinating regional initiatives, and developing frameworks for cooperation in energy transition. Job Title: Regional Programme Officer
Education: Advanced University degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in the field of energy, economics/finance, engineering or any other relevant field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience: A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in the energy sector, some of which should be at the international level; experience in international cooperation and in dealing with multilateral agencies, networks and forums; experience of work in regional organizations of the region and demonstrated ability to implement projects/programmes are additional assets.
Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of other languages of the Asia-Pacific region would be an advantage.
