Job summary

Louis Vuitton in Dubai seeks a Product Merchandiser to support the Men’s Universe Merchandising Manager in executing strategies that drive sales, optimize inventory and enhance store performance across the network.

You will analyze performance by store, drive stock actions, and ensure flawless execution of collection launches while acting as the liaison between head office and the store network. English fluency is required; French/Arabic are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience as a Product Merchandiser or Buyer in luxury retail.
• Experience in the Middle Eastern market is a plus.
• Fluency in English; French/Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel / MS Office proficiency.

• Support the preparation of seasonal buying sessions and take part in buying sessions.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and client feedback, and share insights with the Merchandising Manager.
• Analyze weekly sales, sell-through and stock data store by store; identify best-sellers, slow movers and opportunities, and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate collection launches with Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain and Retail teams; act as a point of contact for stores on product questions.

The Product Merchandiser will support the Men’s Universe Merchandising Manager in executing the merchandising strategies that drive sales, optimize inventory, and enhance store performance across the network, contributing to the delivery of the business plan in line with the Maison strategy.
This position follows the product categories assigned within the Men’s Universe with a highly hands-on, operational approach: analysing performance store by store, driving stock actions and ensuring flawless execution of collection launches.
Serving as the day-to-day link between head office and the store network, the ideal candidate must be an organized, analytical and proactive individual with a real passion for product, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Job responsibilities

Merchandising and Buying Support

• Support the preparation of seasonal buying sessions (historical analysis, store needs, assortment proposals) and take part in buying sessions.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and client feedback, and share insights with the Merchandising Manager.

Commercial Follow-Up & Stock Management

• Analyze weekly sales, sell-through and stock data store by store; identify best-sellers, slow movers and opportunities, and propose corrective actions to limit depreciation.
• Propose stock rebalancing and transfers and support the allocation of new collections to ensure the right product is in the right store at the right time.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Animate the assigned categories through regular store visits and contacts, gathering qualitative feedback from Retail teams.
• Coordinate collection launches with Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain and Retail teams, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Act as a point of contact for stores on product questions, priorities and in-season actions.

Training & Product Expertise

• Contribute to product training for store teams in collaboration with Learning teams, building compelling product storytelling.
• Develop strong expertise on the assigned categories to become a product reference for the store network.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4–5 years of experience as a Product Merchandiser or Buyer, ideally within the luxury retail sector.
• Experience in the Middle Eastern market is a plus.
• Real passion for fashion and product, with a good knowledge of the competition.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel / MS Office proficiency, with the ability to turn data into concrete actions.
• Organized, detail-oriented and results-driven, able to work autonomously with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Team player and able to build strong relationships with peers, management and the store network in a multilingual and multicultural environment.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is required; French/Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regionally as required.
