Job description

Based in Dubai and due to a vast opening programme across the MENA region, my client is looking to add a critical senior PR Manager into the dept to work across all the key brands from a corporate perspective. My client is a global leader in Hospitality.

Reporting to the Senior Director-Corporate Communications, you will be accountable for the following areas:

  1. Promoting, enhancing and protecting the public image and reputation of my client's core brands, its brand and business worldwide, through professional content generation.
  2. Researching, collating, writing and publishing high quality brand-relevant content.
  3. Proofreading and quality checking all content prepared for internal or external publication, including stories generated through company initiatives, internal communications, CSR activities, colleague activities, videos, and audio recordings.
  4. Assessing the suitability of texts and proposed communication for its intended readership.
  5. Communicating, supporting, and working closely with each member of the Sales & Marketing department and regional and Strategic Business Unit teams to develop and edit material.
  6. Maintaining and building good contacts with sales, marketing, regional offices, and public relations consultancies.
  7. Acting as a key contact within the Sales & Marketing department for all colleagues.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Degree educated, preferably in PR/Communications.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in PR, Brand, and Communications roles.
  • Travel industry experience (Hotels, Leisure, Entertainment, Airlines) in a corporate or regional capacity preferred.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills in English; Arabic and additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, locally and regionally.
  • Strong personality with experience managing agencies and media contacts.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the MEA region.
  • Current GCC experience is essential.
  • Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure.
