Overview

REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER - DUBAI

We have been retained by an international client that is looking to expand and strengthen their team by adding a Regional Operations Manager. The ROM will be responsible for spearheading operational excellence across outlets in the region. Responsible for the PSCSP results in the region / area by monitoring the KPIs, while leading the regional / area team and upholding the brand culture at all times with all stakeholder's interaction. The ROM will be accountable for the regional business growth by expanding the market as aligned with stakeholders all while aligning with the brands commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Review and approve regional team manpower requirements based on existing restaurant requirements and business expansion for the period.
  • Verify people development progress (including CTM progress) with the concerned regional team and provide assistance when needed.
  • Identify, train, and develop successors for positions.
  • Monitor people KPIs for the region and respond to the results.
  • Motivate, train, coach and develop the team directly reporting to OPM as well as one level below direct reports.
  • Ensure restaurant teams adhere to all people systems.
  • Visit restaurants periodically as per the regional plan to motivate the team and observe opportunities to improve operational standards and compliance with procedures.
  • Monitor standard KPIs for the region and respond to the results.
  • Observe customer trends in the region and respond to improve customer experience in the restaurants.
  • Review and align regional management team on mystery shopper scores and improve periodic results.
  • Visit competition in the region and observe opportunities to improve in the restaurants.
  • Research and provide new market locations to RGM/GM for potential expansion.
  • Review and monitor sales KPIs set by stakeholders and provide assistance to improve periodical results in the restaurants.
  • Accountable for regional/area restaurants profit KPIs and take corrective actions to improve periodic results.
  • Review and monitor restaurant profit KPIs and implement actions to improve results.
  • Review, approve and manage area budgets.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify viable locations for new restaurants.
  • Collaborate with real estate teams to assess properties for compliance with licensor specifications.
  • Ensure all operational plans align with licensor brand standards and guidelines.
  • Review and implement operational procedures that meet licensor requirements.
  • Maintain communication with the licensor to clarify expectations and standards for new openings.
  • Identify potential risks for new openings, including regulatory compliance issues, supply chain challenges, and labor market fluctuations.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate identified risks and ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Coordinate and manage all areas support functional team to ensure the smooth functioning of the restaurant operation and achieving KPIs.
Ideal candidate
  • 4-5 years' experience in a senior operations manager role or equivalent.
  • Strong operational background within the QSR space.
  • Have a high level of emotional intelligence to adapt to various cultural settings and situations.
  • Ability to work on holidays and/or weekends.
  • Ability to work a shift other than a day shift.
  • Ability to work extended hours beyond a typical work week.

Salary package: AED30 000 - 35 000 per month + benefits
