In the role of Regional IT Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing our Regional IT Strategy and supporting all schools in the region.

About the Role :

As Regional IT Director your focus will be :

  • Provide regional IT leadership, day-to-day management of IT solutions and operations services, manage and maintain group IT processes and standards in the region, contribute to their effectiveness, quality and accountability in achieving strategic business goals.
  • Build, ensure, and maintain productive and strategic business relationships with all key stakeholders in the region.
  • Report regional service performance against agreed target performance indicators and identifying actions when necessary.
  • Communicate the global IT roadmap to the regional business stakeholders and soliciting feedback.
  • Plan, direct and review activities of school / office IT Managers and assist them with problem solving and educational needs.
  • Actively contribute to the definition, planning and implementation of the group IT strategy and roadmap, including IT standards for hardware and software, policies and processes.
  • Review all budget planning and purchases of hardware and software to assure interoperability of all enterprise systems within regional schools and offices.
  • Ensure that school / office IT teams are focused on their customers and deliver an outstanding level of service.

The Successful Candidate will possess :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
  • Proven experience as Regional IT director or similar role
  • Management experience in an operational support or production environment as IT Manager or IT Service Delivery Manager.
  • People management skills including experience in developing and leading a team.
  • Experience in Procurement, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Asset Management.
  • ITIL and Prince2 certifications desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of technology used throughout the Education sector including Virtual Learning Solutions.
  • Worked in complex matrix organization structure
