Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking an Hospitality and Counters Operations Manager for the MENA & KSA region. The role leads in-store bakery, hospitality and counters, driving strategy, efficiency, and sustainable growth through collaboration with Food Buying and Operations teams.

You will oversee daily operations, optimise performance, coach teams, manage stock, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering a memorable customer experience across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in hospitality and retail operations.
• Minimum 5 years in hospitality with food hygiene certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills under pressure.
• Ability to analyze data for financial and commercial levers in cafe/restaurant management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the sales plan for regional M&S hospitality and counters across departments.
• Regularly review sales figures to identify performance improvements.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with UK Specialists, Food Buying, and Operations teams to drive sales.
• Maximize stock accuracy and ensure timely seasonal updates and events.
• Oversee service points and café counters to maintain standards.
• Coach teams to model excellent service and drive improvements.
• Lead bakery equipment design and deployment for efficiency and sustainability.
• Ensure a safe and compliant working environment (TSL).
• Manage cost optimization and waste reduction initiatives.
