Job summary

SM BROS GROUP is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead financial operations across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. You will oversee accounting, budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and regulatory compliance, ensuring IFRS alignment and tax adherence.

The role requires a strong UAE finance background, multi-entity experience, and proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel. You will partner with auditors, banks and regulators to support growth and profitability.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field is mandatory.
Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years in finance and accounting, including supervisory roles.
UAE finance experience is essential; KSA experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and Saudi VAT/Zakat requirements.
Good understanding of IFRS, budgeting and financial analysis.
Experience handling multiple entities, branches or group companies is advantageous.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations across UAE and KSA entities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and working capital.
Monitor accounts payable/receivable, credit control and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable financial reporting standards.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks and regulators.
Monitor inventory valuation, costing, gross margins and financial performance.
Establish internal controls, policies and procedures; ensure timely reporting.
