ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position will oversee Financial Controls, Harmonise Processes, Strengthen internal controls, oversee cash management, standardise Insurance coverage, and manage audit and risk processes for all African markets.
- Manage daily treasury accounting and supervise AR & AP accounting.
- Ensure Factory Gate control of goods/assets movement.
- Oversee Store Accounting (MIGO/MIRO), material issuance to production, and SAP accounting.
- Handle production accounting, W.I.P, finished goods, yield analysis, and control.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, coordinate routine banking operations, and maximize retail auctions.
- Review daily fund planning and ensure implementation.
- Verify banking, AP, and AR entries in SAP and perform monthly debtor and creditor reconciliations.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations.
- Review and approve payments, ensuring correct settlement of invoices.
- Provide inputs for annual budgeting and FY-end forecasts to the reporting team.
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records and statements monthly to support business decisions.
- Ensure proper accounting of capital expenditure and perform variance analysis.
- Report actual cash outflows and variances.
- Generate various monthly MIS reports.
- Implement and monitor internal control systems.
- Manage insurance coverage for assets.
- Ensure compliance with local laws.
- Coordinate and support plant, commercial, and admin teams as needed.
Skill, Qualification, and Experience
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Mandatory)
- CA qualification required (Non-CA or CMA candidates will not be considered)
- Experience working in a multi-country/cross-cultural environment
- Working knowledge of Power BI
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- 12-15 years of experience in Beverages or FMCG, preferably with exposure to Africa
- Experience in FMCG, Food, or Beverages sectors preferred
