Full Job Description

MedChemExpress has an immediate opening for a Regional Director of Sales And Marketing based in Dubai. This is a full-time position with career advancement opportunities within the company. You must be available to work from Monday to Friday and willing to travel. You must be legally working in Dubai.

MedChemExpress is a renowned globally company in the chemicals and biochemicals research market specializing in the development of novel life-science reagents, reference compounds, APIs and natural compounds, and MedChemExpress will be rapidly expanding its commercial team in Middle East to further develop more customers.

Key responsibilities

  • This position is expected 60% of the field work. (Customer visit & attending exhibitions, etc.)
  • Participate in global training session and ensure updated professional knowledge on product of MCE and competitors.
  • Technical Support : Provide product & service training to distributors and customers in academia and industrial institute. Visit and maintain key accounts. Build network with KOLs and cultivate speakers.
  • Technical advice for our customers (academia customers & industrial customers) and partners / distributors.
  • Product presentation and customer trainings as required depending on the business needs.
  • Responsible for local marketing activity to ensure yearly sales goal achievement.
  • Communicate accurate information regarding products, prices, product availability, and current promotions to customers.
  • Prepare and attend exhibitions, scientific conference, trade shows; develop marketing campaign; collect customer information : Proactive booth exhibition to improve brand awareness to Korea customers and make our own customer contact pool.
  • Identify and approach prospective Life-science related research / industrial customers to promote MedChemExpress brand and products.
  • Develop a key account / customer list with key contacts, products used – with phone, e-mail as appropriate.
  • Cooperate with global / regional team (such as marketing team) to participate in product branding and marketing events.
  • Collect local market / industry and competitor information, do market research and share with the team to help with marketing strategies and plans.
  • Responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets by formulating sales planning and strategies.
  • You will keep a trustful relationship with clients through proactive follow-up actions and support.
  • Interact well with customers and maintain good customer relationships, visit customers regularly, develop new customers, being professional and courteous.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and / or industry, both from existing customers and leads for new audiences.

Required skills : Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above in life science, Biotechnology, Biomedical science, pharmacy, chemistry, drug chemistry, chemical biology, medical, biochemistry and medicinal chemistry related disciplines. (Must)
  • Familiarity with biological or biomedical or biochemical or pharmaceutical industry, at least 3 years of sales & marketing experience in the drug discovery & life science market with small molecule products - experience on customer visits, distributor channel management is necessary .
  • Excellent business communications skills (verbal, written, presentation), organizational skills, and computer skills (proficient with MS Office).
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Ability of work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Can withstand certain work pressure.
  • Self-motivated and self-discipline, responsible for clear sales target.
