Job summary

Vanderlande in Dubai leads strategic digital solution implementations across the Middle East, overseeing a team of Data Integration Engineers and Solution Specialists. You will collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Product Managers to ensure on-time delivery, scope adherence, and top-quality outcomes.

The role demands 8+ years in digital projects with leadership experience, strong Python/Java/API/SQL skills, and familiarity with cloud tech and integration platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in digital projects, data integration, enterprise applications, software engineering, or solution architecture.
• 3+ years of leadership or technical leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of customer projects from initiation through go-live and operational handover.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including software engineers, data integration specialists, business analysts, and external partners.
• Monitor project scope, budget, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Drive project governance activities and report progress to senior management and customer stakeholders.
• Facilitate project steering committees, design reviews, and executive status meetings.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks.
• Support contract execution by managing change requests, technical clarifications, and solution impacts.
• Ensure successful site coordination for customer deployments in the Middle-East including UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and others.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning for team members.
• Allocate resources across concurrent projects based on business priorities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of engineering talent in the Middle East region.
• Foster a culture of delivery excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
