Job summary

SD (Middle East) LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Senior Delivery Leader for strategic digital solution implementations across the Middle East. You will head a team of Data Integration Engineers and Solution Specialists, ensuring on-time, within-scope project delivery and high-quality outcomes.

You will partner with Customer Success Managers and Product Managers, drive governance, and nurture long-term customer relationships to grow the regional business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering digital projects, data integration, or software solutions.
• 3+ years in leadership or technical leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python/Java, APIs, SQL, cloud tech and integration platforms.
• Familiar with PMI/PRINCE2/Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of customer projects from initiation to go-live and handover.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, analysts, and partners.
• Monitor scope, budget, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Report progress to senior management and customer stakeholders.
• Facilitate steering committees and design reviews with executives.
• Manage expectations and ensure transparent communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Mitigate technical and delivery risks proactively.
• Support contract execution with change requests and clarifications.
• Oversee site coordination for deployments in the Middle East (UAE, KSA, etc.).
• Coach and develop team members and plan resource allocation.
• Assist recruitment and onboarding of engineering talent in the region.
• Foster a culture of delivery excellence and continuous improvement.

Your Mission Lead the successful delivery of strategic digital solution implementation projects across the Middle East.

You will manage a team of Data Integration Engineers and Solution Specialists and interface with Customer Success Managers and Product Managers. Acting as a senior delivery leader, you will ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, while building long-term customer relationships and contributing to the growth of the regional business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of customer projects from initiation through go-live and operational handover.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including software engineers, data integration specialists, business analysts, and external partners.
• Monitor project scope, budget, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Drive project governance activities and report progress to senior management and customer stakeholders.
• Facilitate project steering committees, design reviews, and executive status meetings.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks.
• Support contract execution by managing change requests, technical clarifications, and solution impacts.
• Ensure successful site coordination for customer deployments in the Middle-East including UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and others.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning for team members.
• Allocate resources across concurrent projects based on business priorities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of engineering talent in the Middle East region.
• Foster a culture of delivery excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in digital projects, data integration, enterprise applications, software engineering, or solution architecture.
• 3+ years of leadership or technical leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java, APIs, SQL, cloud technologies, and integration platforms.
• Experience designing large-scale enterprise or mission-critical solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience within aviation, airport operations, logistics, supply chain, or industrial automation is highly desirable.
• Proven experience leading enterprise software, data integration, or digital transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholder groups.
• Experience with project governance, risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or hybrid delivery frameworks.
• PMP, Prince2, AgilePM, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
