Job summary

Aramex is seeking a D&T Head of Region to lead regional digital transformation and technology innovation, acting as the primary bridge between regional business units and the central Digital & Technology division.

You will mentor cross‑functional teams, translate regional requirements into scalable tech solutions, manage complex programs end‑to‑end, and drive cost‑effective delivery while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven leadership experience in Information Technology, ideally in multinational or cross-cultural settings.
• Deep understanding of global enterprise strategies and regional business environments.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex IT projects with diverse teams.
• Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in budget management, financial planning, and cost control in technology functions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT security frameworks and data privacy regulations.
• Comfort with operating in a matrix organizational structure.
• Track record of inspiring and leading motivated teams through coaching and empowerment.
• Skilled in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Up‑to‑date with emerging technology trends and their business applicability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the regional D&T teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and agile environment.
• Serve as the primary contact for regional business stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable technology solutions.
• Develop and implement strategic technology platforms tailored for the region, coordinating with global teams for consistency.
• Manage complex projects from planning through execution, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Drive seamless integration initiatives with external partners and customers to enhance workflows and customer experience.
• Ensure robust compliance with digital security protocols and data privacy regulations.
• Champion continuous improvement by analyzing performance data and implementing enhancements.
• Oversee financial stewardship by managing budgets, expenditures, and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating contracts to maximize value and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster knowledge sharing and drive innovative approaches.
• Produce detailed reports and communicate progress to central D&T leadership and regional stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
