Job summary

Summit Therapeutics Inc. seeks a Director, Regional Clinical Operations for the Middle East to lead Phase I–III oncology trials across the region.

You will drive country-startup strategy, site activation excellence, stakeholder engagement, and regional operational delivery with oncology investigators and hospitals. As a senior regional leader, you will shape regional strategies, accelerate trial approvals, ensure GCP compliance, and manage timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading regional clinical operations in oncology.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional feasibility strategy and provide expert country-level operational intelligence.
• Ensure robust assessment of regulatory pathways, site capabilities, patient populations, and competitive trial landscapes.
• Influence country startup strategies to optimize timelines and regulatory approval success rates.
• Maintain oversight of regional study performance and mitigate timelines, enrolment, quality, or budget risks.
• Partner with Global Study Teams to develop mitigation plans for regional challenges.
