Regional Account Manager, Commodities & Energy

Description

Based in Dubai, the Regional Account Manager for Commodities & Energy will play a key role in our Middle East and Africa sales team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional to utilize their skills in a balanced work environment with minimal micromanagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses to tailor support for their commercial decisions and investment strategies.
  2. Sell Argus market data, price assessments, reports, analytics, and consulting services to strategic accounts in the Middle East and Africa.
  3. Manage existing accounts through a consultative approach, overseeing renewals and identifying growth opportunities within assigned territories.
  4. Collaborate with Business Development to identify new clients and opportunities.
  5. Create account opportunity maps to visualize value delivery and potential sales opportunities.
  6. Coordinate internal resources to maximize client value and ensure clear communication about renewals and growth.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance satisfaction and trust.
  8. Act as a trusted advisor, encouraging clients to engage with new products, promotions, and feedback mechanisms.
  9. Administer account activities effectively using Argus CRM and related tools.
  10. Provide insights on future market trends to management.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Minimum 4+ years in B2B sales, with experience in international markets and new business development.
  2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  3. Experience working across diverse cultures, preferably within dispersed global teams.
  4. Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a focus on quality and commercial outcomes.
  5. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  6. University degree or higher education.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, embodying Argus values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence, Results.
