This is a great opportunity for someone looking to utilize their sales skills to the full. We seek a proactive self-starter who is keen to work in an environment with a strong work/life balance and no micromanagement. The key to success in this role will be developing an understanding of the client's business to tailor packages supporting their commercial decisions and investment strategies.

As a Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling Argus market data, price assessments, reports, analytics, and consulting capabilities to strategic accounts in the Middle East and African region. Your role involves applying a consultative and methodical approach to sales and account management, managing renewals, and developing growth strategies within your designated vertical white space.

  1. Build and identify growth opportunities within your territory from existing customer accounts and new prospects in a defined white space vertical.
  2. Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new customers, accounts, and long-term opportunities.
  3. Create account opportunity maps to increase visibility of value delivered and identify product and service opportunities to drive quarterly goals.
  4. Coordinate and manage internal resources to maximize value for clients and ensure clear communication for renewals and relationship growth.
  5. Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers to maximize satisfaction.
  6. Become a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they maximize their relationship with Argus and stay engaged with new products, promotions, events, and feedback mechanisms.
  7. Manage all administrative aspects of your accounts efficiently using Argus CRM and related technologies.
  8. Provide insights on future buying trends to management.

What we're looking for in you:

  • At least 4 years of successful B2B sales experience, including new business generation, preferably with international exposure.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to network effectively.
  • Experience working across various cultures, especially in Asia, and familiarity with dispersed global organizations.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, positive outlook, with a focus on high-quality and commercial benefits.
  • Arabic language skills are desirable.
  • University degree or higher education.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, aligned with Argus values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence, and Results.

What's in it for you:

  • Work within a motivated team at an industry-leading, rapidly growing global company.
  • Competitive salary and commission structure based on experience and skills.
  • Hybrid working model with work-from-home options.
  • Healthcare insurance in the UAE.
  • 22 days holiday plus public holidays.
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and hospitalization coverage.
  • Ongoing training, mentoring, and development opportunities.
  • Employee Welfare & Employee Assistance Programme.

Travel:

  • Client meetings, conferences, and events, with at least 25% travel expected across the Middle East and Africa.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional earlier, later, or weekend hours.
