Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units.
Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, belts, filters, hoses, and electrical components.
Check refrigerant levels and identify leaks.
Maintain service records and maintenance reports.
Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools.
Read and interpret Thermo King TKDL and Carrier diagnostic codes.
Troubleshoot temperature control issues, engine failures, and sensor malfunctions.
Identify root causes of breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
Repair or replace faulty compressors, alternators, controllers, sensors, and wiring.
Overhaul diesel engines used in reefer units.
Repair refrigeration circuits, evaporators, condensers, and cooling systems.
Carry out welding and fabrication work when required.
Test batteries, charging systems, relays, and electronic controllers.
Diagnose CAN bus communication faults and microprocessor control systems.
Install and calibrate temperature sensors and data loggers.
Recover, recharge, and handle refrigerants according to safety regulations.
Perform pressure testing and vacuuming of refrigeration systems.
Ensure units maintain required temperatures for frozen and chilled cargo.
Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency service calls.

Strong knowledge of Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems.
Experience in diesel engines, electrical systems, and HVAC refrigeration.
