Qualifications

• Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and temperature-controlled transport.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Typically 2–10 years of Thermo King or Carrier reefer maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Thermo King and Carrier units.
• Inspect components including compressors, condensers, belts, and hoses.
• Check refrigerant levels and identify leaks.
• Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical faults.
• Repair or overhaul faulty components and engines.
• Test electrical systems and CAN bus diagnostics.
• Prepare service reports and maintain CMMS records.
• Provide emergency breakdown support and coordinate with fleet.
