Job description

Job Purpose

Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers, attracting applicants by placing job advertisements, as well as other support and administrative tasks in the recruitment department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting recruitment activities related to posting vacancies on SABIS Careers and external portals, screening and shortlisting resumes, sending and shortlisting application forms, and scheduling interviews with line managers to support school staffing needs.
  2. Documenting feedback related to applicants to keep a reliable record.
  3. Contributing to candidate sourcing by coordinating job fairs and related activities, as well as networking with university placement offices.
  4. Conducting interviews for local and expatriate non-native positions, as and when required.
  5. Liaising with hiring managers for interview feedback, transfers, and any other needed information.
  6. Updating the recruitment database for CVs collected from external sources to maintain records of them for current and future vacancies.
  7. Managing all communication and paperwork associated with new recruits, including, but not limited to, the issuance of the letter of intent, contract, application form, confidentiality/waiver agreement, and reference check.
  8. Collecting and assembling all documents for the personnel file and keeping all relevant parties informed as needed.
  9. Updating employee files in an accurate and timely manner so that all personnel data is efficiently recorded, stored, and retrieved as needed.
  10. Supporting in the implementation and administration of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure that it is used effectively within the organization.
  11. Updating the monthly recruitment report for the department to keep all relevant parties well-informed on the recruitment needs and the number of vacancies filled.
  12. Supporting the various SABIS recruitment functions and performing other related tasks as needed and requested by management.

Ideal Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent (HR focus/specialization is a plus).
  2. 0-2 years of experience.
  3. Professional behavior and ethical conduct.
  4. Ability to work within a team.

Must meet all employment requirements including, but not limited to, country and local education and certification requirements, reference checks, and criminal background checks.
