Job Purpose
The PCP Officer is responsible for connecting with potential candidates both online and offline, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers. The goal is to hire qualified individuals while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Roles, Responsibilities, Duties
The responsibilities include:
- Supporting recruitment operations to ensure vacancies are filled within stipulated timeframes, maintaining smooth departmental functions.
- Sourcing profiles from various portals.
- Advertising positions on external portals such as LinkedIn, Bayt, etc.
- Screening candidates.
- Scheduling interviews.
- Conducting reference checks and other related duties.
Additional responsibilities:
- Sourcing profiles and handling interviews for Grade 6-9 positions.
- Handling sourcing and interviews for senior/top management positions as needed.
- Participating actively in the candidate selection process by conducting interviews and providing detailed assessments based on job requirements.
- Meeting Emiratization targets.
- Verifying employment information and contacting references for reference checks.
- Ensuring salary and CTC calculations align with the Korn Ferry study.
- Maintaining records of all required documents before proceeding with hiring, including obtaining budget approval.
- Preparing and issuing offer letters.
- Preparing new starter checklists and sharing them with line managers prior to onboarding.
- Preparing new joiner files and handing them over to payroll one day before employee joining.
- Conducting orientation and induction sessions for new employees.
- Coordinating with the visa-processing department to provide necessary documents promptly and resolving issues as they arise.
- Coordinating with payroll for internal transfers and promotion requests.
- Adhering to policies and procedures to maintain professionalism.
- Ensuring recruitment and selection policies comply with UAE labor laws and company guidelines.
- Providing weekly recruitment reports for professional staff.
- Developing talent acquisition practices that are efficient in time and cost.
- Participating in weekly meetings and reporting on recruitment activities.
- Representing the company at job fairs conducted by educational institutions.
- Managing training and development activities.
- Conducting training needs analysis with line managers to inform the company's T&D agenda.
- Monitoring and conducting the annual job description review process.
- Closing audit and HSQE gaps.
- Handling internship programs.
- Participating in job shadowing for the TEG Manager.
