The Role
Reporting in to the HR Director, you will lead and co-ordinate all recruitment for the organisation. The main duties will include:
- Assist the HR Director to develop the department’s strategic plans and budget, in particular the recruitment plans and initiatives.
- Actively contribute to develop/revise HR policies and procedures, particularly recruitment-related policies and processes for the organisation.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Recruitment Section, providing expertise, encouraging teamwork, and aligning work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets, objectives, and employee engagement in a motivated work environment.
- Prepare the short and medium term Recruiting Plans.
- Write advertisements for the web, newspapers, etc. Vet the advertisements with the hiring departments. Use creativity and innovation in the job ad content.
- Screen candidates and make recommendations for candidate suitability to the hiring departments.
- Lead the recruitment team to schedule interviews for shortlisted candidates. Ensure that appropriate panels are selected for all interviews as per HR Policy.
- Coordinate and/or participate in external recruitment events, locally and internationally.
- Work with the Emiratization Coordinator to hire top UAE National talent.
- Ensure completeness of all required documentation for hiring selected candidates.
- Follow up on job offers and ensure follow up after the interview.
