Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Encourage guests to register and schedule participation in recreation activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Provide information about available recreation facilities and activities. Promote rules and regulations to ensure safety and welfare. Observe activities and respond appropriately in emergencies following local procedures. Be aware of situations where guests may not participate safely and inform supervisors. Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies; maintain a professional appearance; ensure confidentiality; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address service needs; assist guests with disabilities; thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally; answer phones appropriately. Develop positive relationships with colleagues; support team goals. Process payments for rentals, activities, or retail sales. Meet quality standards. Read and verify information visually. Inspect tools and equipment for defects. Use computers and point of sale systems. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 pounds alone and over 50 pounds with assistance. Handle objects requiring fine motor skills. Move through confined or uneven spaces. Navigate stairs and ramps. Reach overhead and below knees; bend, twist, and stoop. Perform other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.

Related Work Experience: None required.

Supervisory Experience: None required.
