POSITION SUMMARY

Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, which may include pools, beach entertainment zone/game-room, fitness center, and child activities center. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Enforce rules and regulations of the recreation facilities to ensure the safety and welfare of guests and members. Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedures in the event of an emergency. Provide cashier services when working in facilities that include point-of-sale transactions. Assist in hosting private functions within the recreation facilities with group activities and events. Be aware of situations where guests may not be able to participate safely in an activity and inform a supervisor or manager. Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensure a professional appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally; answer telephones with proper etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team goals. Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales. Comply with quality assurance standards. Read and verify information in various formats. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects. Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and locate information. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds unaided, and heavier objects with assistance. Perform fine motor tasks and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow or elevated spaces, uneven surfaces, stairs, or ramps. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending and twisting. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: None required.

Supervisory Experience: None required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

License or Certification: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and any other certifications required by local and state agencies.
