Our client, a leading training center in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Receptionist cum Sales Executive. This role offers the unique opportunity to blend exceptional front-desk customer service with sales skills to drive enrollment and promote the school’s programs. The Receptionist cum Sales Executive will manage front-desk operations while also actively promoting the culinary school’s programs and services to potential students and corporate clients. This position requires a blend of customer service excellence, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities :

Receptionist Duties :

  1. Greet visitors, students, and guests upon arrival, providing a warm, professional welcome.
  2. Answer phone calls and emails, handling inquiries regarding courses, admissions, and school facilities.
  3. Provide detailed information about the culinary school’s programs, courses, and schedules.
  4. Handle student registrations and assist in managing the admissions process.
  5. Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring all documents and materials are properly filed and accessible.
  6. Coordinate appointments, meetings, and tours for prospective students and clients.
  7. Assist with student inquiries related to their enrollment and academic progress.
  8. Ensure proper communication with other departments (academics, administration, and marketing) for smooth operational flow.
  9. Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, appointments, and responding to general inquiries.
  10. Responsible for onboarding 3 students per month.

Sales Executive Duties :

  1. Actively promote the culinary school’s programs and courses to prospective students via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  2. Generate leads through outreach efforts, marketing campaigns, and student referrals.
  3. Conduct tours of the facility for prospective students and clients, showcasing the school's state-of-the-art equipment, kitchen labs, and classrooms.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to help drive promotional events and open houses to boost enrollments.
  5. Follow up with prospective students, guiding them through the enrollment process and answering any questions they may have.
  6. Prepare and present sales materials, brochures, and course catalogs to potential clients and students.
  7. Maintain a database of leads, track sales activities, and provide regular updates on conversion progress.
  8. Meet and exceed sales targets related to student enrollments and course sign-ups.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders to encourage continued enrollment and program participation.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or any related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years experience in the same field.
  3. Proven experience in a receptionist, customer service, or front desk role, preferably in education or hospitality.
  4. Previous sales or business development experience, ideally in the educational sector or similar field.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with students and prospective clients.
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM software or related to marketing.
  8. Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  9. Knowledge of the hospitality industry or culinary education is a plus.
  10. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  12. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends or evenings, as required.
