A leading logistics company based in Dubai is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet guests, answer calls, and provide high-quality service. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills in English and preferably Arabic, a passion for customer service, and knowledge of the service industry. The jobholder is responsible for answering calls professionally, efficiently, and courteously, creating a positive first impression of DHL, transferring calls to the right extensions, and taking messages for employees not available. The jobholder also meets DHL customers/guests upon arrival and directs them to appropriate locations.

YOUR TASKS

  • Meet and greet customers/guests upon arrival and check in guests or direct them to appropriate locations.
  • Answer telephones in a timely and professional manner as per DHL standards and transfer calls to the appropriate department/staff to project a professional image to internal and external customers.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism, considering all DHL customers have express requirements and seek immediate action.
  • Follow customer service procedures outlined in the manual to ensure compliance with ISO procedures and safe working practices.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all departments and the DHL network to always supply correct and accurate information to customers, both internal and external.
  • Assist with administrative requests or reports as needed.
  • Support and cover for the incentive coordinator in their absence.
  • Support NPA First Calls to enhance the customer experience with DHL Service.
  • Assist in answering call center calls if needed.
  • Assist walk-in customers at the service point if needed.
  • Provide continuous improvement suggestions to enhance the reception process.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Educational background with knowledge of the service industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute; passion for delighting customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Good relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • Team player.
