Job Description

Your passion and energy will be infectious as you welcome our guests and support them through their check-in and check-out procedures. Your natural down-to-earth manner will help manage guest expectations in a fast and busy environment. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure no step in the procedures is missed. Managing payments will be second nature, and you will have excellent data entry skills to support accurate reports.

Main Responsibilities Include

  1. Greet and welcome guests, visitors, suppliers, answer telephone calls providing a warm, timely welcome in line with our brand standards.
  2. Answer guest-related queries and provide information on promotions, room prices, activities, and events in the surrounding area to ensure accurate information is given to guests.
  3. Ensure payments are made according to cash handling procedures and process all reservations and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
  4. Identify corporate leads and build long-term relationships.
  5. Drive online mentions and promote customer feedback.
  6. Understand online guest feedback and explore options for improvement.
  7. Carry out general office duties, including correspondence, emails, and filing, to ensure the smooth running of the reception area. Maintain appropriate stock of supplies and stationeries.
  8. Communicate effectively with all departments regarding guest requests and complaints to ensure smooth service delivery.
  9. Ensure the safety of all guests in line with safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

You must have / be:

  • At least one year of experience as a Hotel Receptionist in the Front Office department of a hotel.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS.
  • Arabic language skills in speaking, writing, and reading.
