Job Description

As a Hotel Receptionist, your passion and energy will be vital as you welcome guests and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Your friendly and down-to-earth manner will help manage guest expectations in a busy environment. Attention to detail is essential to follow procedures accurately. You will handle payments and support accurate reporting through excellent data entry skills.

Main Responsibilities Include

  1. Greeting and welcoming guests, visitors, and suppliers, and answering calls warmly and promptly.
  2. Providing information about promotions, room rates, and local activities to guests.
  3. Processing payments according to cash handling procedures and managing reservations and cancellations efficiently.
  4. Identifying corporate leads and building long-term relationships.
  5. Promoting online presence and gathering customer feedback.
  6. Addressing online guest feedback and exploring areas for improvement.
  7. Performing general office duties such as correspondence, emails, and filing to ensure smooth reception operations.
  8. Maintaining stock of supplies and stationeries.
  9. Communicating effectively with all departments regarding guest requests and complaints.
  10. Ensuring guest safety in accordance with safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

We seek candidates with a customer-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with proactive organizational skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

You Must Have / Be

  • At least one year of experience as a Hotel Receptionist in a Front Office department.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS.
  • Proficiency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing).
