Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in maximizing room sales and revenue.
- Prepare guest name lists and coordinate guest arrivals and departures.
- Greet and address guests by name during check-in and check-out.
- Assist guests with registration, transportation, luggage, and payments.
- Escort guests to their rooms and inform Guest Service Attendants of room numbers.
- Show room features and facilities to guests.
- Follow up on guest requests and inquiries, and recommend hotel F&B outlets and entertainment.
- Brief the next shift personnel at shift change.
- Provide information and directions according to hotel standards and policies.
- Operate the Business Center, handle documents, and ensure prompt delivery of mails and messages.
- Be familiar with cashier policies, credit card handling, and foreign exchange procedures.
- Control and distribute guest room keys, and follow hotel and company standards and policies.
- Report guest feedback or unusual events to management.
- Know hotel emergency procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed effectively and timely.
- Conduct daily briefings and de-briefings in the absence of supervisors.
- Recommend corrective actions for variances and propose staffing adjustments.
- Establish effective communication within and across departments.
- Prepare business volume and revenue reports.
- Attend departmental meetings and manage time effectively.
- Handle personnel actions such as leaves, overtime, disciplinary actions, and recognitions.
- Identify and resolve problems professionally.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Understand all departmental positions and perform required tasks.
- Know department policies and guide others accordingly.
- Recognize quality products and presentation standards.
- Supervise staff activities to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
- Assist during peak periods and maintain grooming standards.
- Conserve energy and water, and manage waste effectively.
- Manage inventory of supplies and understand requisition points.
Commercial Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with guests, clients, and staff.
- Promote the hotel’s image and business as a sales-oriented professional.
- Participate in community projects to enhance hotel relations.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Coach and counsel staff, evaluate performance, and provide training.
- Motivate staff and develop personal supervisory skills.
Relationships:
- Report to the Unit Manager.
- Supervise subordinates and coordinate with related personnel.
Others:
- Engage in continuous learning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or relevant field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; 1+ years’ experience is a plus.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Pleasant personality and strong interpersonal skills.
