Job Description: Hotel Receptionist
Your passion and energy will be infectious as you welcome our guests and support them through their check-in and check-out procedures. Your natural down-to-earth manner will help manage guest expectations in a fast and busy environment. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure no step in the procedures is missed. Managing payments will become second nature, supported by excellent data entry skills to ensure accurate reports.
Main responsibilities include:
- Greeting and welcoming guests, visitors, and suppliers, answering telephone calls, and providing a warm, timely welcome in line with our brand standards.
- Answering guest-related queries and providing information about promotions, room prices, activities, and events in the surrounding area.
- Ensuring payments are processed according to cash handling procedures and managing reservations and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Identifying corporate leads and building long-term relationships.
- Driving online mentions and promoting customer feedback.
- Monitoring online guest feedback and exploring options for improvement.
- Carrying out general office duties, including correspondence, emails, and filing, to ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
- Maintaining appropriate stock of supplies and stationeries.
- Communicating effectively with all departments regarding guest requests and complaints for smooth service delivery.
- Ensuring the safety of all guests in line with safety procedures and guidelines.

Must have / be:
- Minimum of one-year experience as a Hotel Receptionist in the Front Office department
- Knowledge of Opera (PMS)
- Proficiency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing)
