Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and assist visitors and customers upon arrival.
  2. Provide a friendly and professional first impression of the showroom.
  3. Direct customers to appropriate departments or staff members.
  4. Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
  5. Schedule appointments and showroom tours for clients.
  6. Assist in processing customer orders and maintaining client records.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized reception area and showroom space.
  8. Support the sales team by taking messages and providing them with leads or customer details.
  9. Help with paperwork for sales transactions and follow-ups.
  10. Assist with payment processing, including cash or card payments.
  11. Provide receipts and track sales transactions accurately.
  12. Maintain customer files, sales records, and other necessary documents.
  13. Manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is stocked.
  14. Handle mail and packages coming into and out of the showroom.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain an organized workspace.
  3. Accuracy in record-keeping and transaction handling.
  4. Familiarity with office software, spreadsheets, and showroom management systems.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and administrative teams.
  6. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
  7. Prior experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
