A hospitality company in Dubai is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. The role involves managing the front desk, handling calls, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Role Summary:
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. This role is responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming calls, and ensuring that all guests receive a warm, professional welcome in alignment with our company values and hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Manage the front desk, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
• Provide basic and accurate information to visitors and callers.
• Manage meeting room bookings and inform staff of visitor arrivals.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
• Maintain visitor logs and issue access badges when required.
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and handling office supplies.
• Coordinate with facility management, cleaners, or security as needed.
• Assist HR or other departments with ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in hospitality or business administration is a plus.
• Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Customer-service attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
