Job description

At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, a Receptionist provides reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required.

What will I be doing?

As a Receptionist, you will:

  • Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check-in/out, and complete audit procedures as required.
  • Keep the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors informed of relevant guest feedback and departmental updates.
  • Demonstrate high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Attend training courses as required and assist with Night Team training and development.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and general hotel information.
  • Maximize room occupancy and promote hotel services through up-selling techniques.
  • Follow proper procedures for accepting foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash, in line with hotel policy.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety laws.
  • Operate front of house equipment and property management systems according to policies and procedures.
  • Follow brand standards and assist other departments when necessary.
